About Lighthouse Cyber Education
Lighthouse Cyber Education exists to help families, educators, and community leaders navigate the digital world safely and confidently. Founded by former police detective and cyber safety educator Rebekah Nijsen, the organisation raises awareness of online risks while equipping people with practical strategies to protect children and young people in an increasingly connected world.
Drawing on more than a decade of frontline experience in child protection, technology crime, and cyber safety education, Rebekah combines professional expertise with the perspective of a mother. Through presentations, workshops, and educational resources, Lighthouse Cyber Education empowers communities to have informed conversations, build healthy digital habits, and create safer online environments for the next generation.
